How it works
Everything that happens to your coins and your SOL, start to finish.
Selling
Pick the coin, the amount and the total SOL you want. Ascend shows you the price per coin before you post, so you can compare it with the chart.
When you post, your coins move into escrow. They sit there, off every market, until a buyer fills the order or you pull it.
When a buyer fills it, their SOL lands in your wallet and the coins land in theirs, in the same transaction.
Buying
Post how many coins you want and what you’ll pay in total. Your SOL waits in escrow while the order is up.
A seller who holds the coins fills it. You get the coins, they get the SOL, and the price on the chart hasn’t moved.
Escrow
While an order is open, the coins or SOL behind it sit in the Ascend escrow wallet. That wallet only signs transactions our backend built for a specific order, and only the exact ones it built.
While someone is filling an order, it is locked, so two people can’t take the same coins.
Network fees on every trade are paid by the escrow wallet. If you’ve never held a coin before, your wallet pays the one-time cost of opening a token account for it (about 0.002 SOL).
Cancelling
You can pull an open order any time before someone fills it. You sign a short message with your wallet (it moves nothing), and the coins or SOL go back to you.
Limits and what we refuse
Orders run from 0.01 SOL to 5 SOL.
We refuse coins whose creator can still freeze them, and Token-2022 coins that charge a fee on every transfer. Either could trap or shrink what sits in escrow.
